Students will explore ways in which social science research methods can be used to study social change.

Prerequisite: Any university or university/college preparation course in social sciences and humanities, English, or Canadian and world studies.

This module will provide an overview of the three disciplines of social science (anthropology, sociology, and psychology) and the inquiry process in order to prepare for study throughout the course. You will explore how each discipline approaches social change, assess your own social change awareness, and examine how both research methods and ethics are applied in real life situations.
